An absolutely gorgeous clip featuring sand animation artist Kseniya Simonova from the Ukraine. You have to see it to believe it – this talented woman brings entire scenes to life with nothing but the tips of her fingers and some sand. She then moves on to changing them and animating them into a literally moving story.
The entire performance is accompanied by music and Kseniya Simonova practically dances as she moves grains of sand around. I can’t follow the Russian lyrics, but the spirit of her art crosses over very well and it’s hardly surprising to see members of the audience crying.
It’s a bit long, but well worth watching!
